Vacation Edit

Its SUMMER (finally)! So, it is time to get up from that desk and go on an adventure!

I went to Maui a little while ago, and I have been having BAD withdrawals since I got back. I am going back to Hawaii every year if I can help it!

A lot of work should go into planning a precise vacation itinerary, but the best vacations begin with a well-stocked suitcase. The last thing you want in paradise is to be perplexed about what to wear! 

 I have a few suggestions for vacation essentials, if you are heading out on a tropical vacation this summer!

1. Swim wear

In Maui, I went with cheap colorful options from Zaful. It is not the best quality, but I am not an avid swimmer. Hence, I don't really believe in investing a ton in swimsuits. In any case, I have curated some options in every price range.

2. Hat

Thanks to Jacquemus, the straw hat is the hottest accessory this season. The crucial sun protection is a bonus!

3. Bag

I love all the bags on sale for summer! The bag in my outfit is vintage! However, there are so many chic options for totes and bohemian cross-body bags! Look out for clear totes and raffia/straw bags!

4. Slides

I love slides! They are street chic easily accessible options for long, lazy vacation strolling. There are surprisingly a lot of very expensive luxe options, but honestly my go-to is Nike slides haha. 

5. Sunglasses

I have been obsessed with sunglasses lately and I have been collecting on-trend vintage sunnies (like the pink Gucci ones in my outfit above). Best places to look are Ebay and Etsy for one-of-a-kind treasure. If you don't want to get too invested, there are many trendy fun pairs available in retail. Look for skinny frames, cat-eye shapes and rectangular/oval plastic frames in bold colors.
